Elizabeth and James Moccasins $245

I spend a big part of my day trekking around campus and walking the halls of the art museum. I need shoes that are super cute but also super comfortable. And here they are – Stock Snake Moccasins by Elizabeth and James.

Equal parts fashionable and functional, these snake-embossed leather moccasins feature tonal topstitching and raised seam detail.  They look cute with jeans and give even the most simple outfit a kick of pizzazz.

And I know that Elizabeth and James is the line by Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, but I refuse to hold that against these cute shoes. They are cute and that’s all that matters.

I need summer shoes.  I need peep-toe, super cute summer shoes.  And I need them now.

I know I’m entering into the game pretty late.  Summer is almost half over and I still don’t have footwear to go with my summer dresses.  I admit that I am sometimes a fashion failure.

But that’s not to say I don’t know how to buckle down and shop.  I’ve decided on beige, peep-toe pumps.  I’m looking for a shoe that I can wear to a summer garden party, a baby shower or even an evening cocktail party down at the lake. Also, I think I’ve seen Angelina in a similar style, and that lady has taste.

Avoiding the sweltering Texas heat, I head over to Zappos.com and within seconds I have my top three shoe options.

What I like best about this shoe is the simple elegance. These shoes aren’t flashy but certainly makes a statement. Though it doesn’t have the platform I have been leaning towards, it does have a 4-inch heel to give me plenty of height. And during hot months, these fabulous shoes will match the most formal and most casual summer attire imaginable.

This is a versatile and stylish shoe. I can see myself wearing these babies a lot.  And they have that classic design, meaning folks won’t notice when I wear these shoes practically every day this summer. Dolce Vita Madison $136.00

Though not a peep-toe, this shoe from my beloved Dolce Vita is an awesome platform shoe that can easily be worn all the way till the first snows of late fall. Adding 4 1/2 inches to my height, I know my legs will look sleek and sexy. I will definitely have the confidence to wear my maybe a little too short summer dresses.
