When I lived in Los Angeles, one of my favorite summer escapes was Paradise Cove up in Malibu.  This is the beach where those 1950’s Beach Blanket Bingo and Frankie Avalon movies were filmed.  Clean and picturesque, yet only a quick drive up the PCH.
